Down the track if Im in a position to build a proper room with an expensive projector I may go down the ISF path.
![]() I have heard Disney WOW is easy to use, but not sure if it covers all the adjustments I have available. DVE has always been recommended as well but am hoping someone has used a few of these and can recommend something that will do what I need. He can adjust his basic user settings with the patterns in the first part of that disc if that is all he wants. He will never be able to get x: 0.313, y: 0.329 (D6500K) by eye nor can he find Y xy colour points. I already like the picture I have without touching settings, and an ISF calibration costs more than my projector so no worth it for me. ![]() ![]() Even the famed JPK Digital Video Essentials has some reported issues. I have used the THX Apple App and for what it is, it is not too bad. The point being, these patterns (including the App) are aimed at the basic 5 user controls (Brightness, Contrast, ColourHue and Sharpness) only. It seems that if I post via Tapatalk on my phone, I come up as cavx. The problem is, that without a colorimeter, you wont be able to get the correct Y xy values of each primary and secondary for REC709.
